Acabo de crear una petici\u00f3n en Change.org para que el tema\u00bbestudios de g\u00e9nero\u00bb sea incorporado al Tesaurus de la UNESCO. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9? <\/strong>Porque al no existir una categor\u00eda en la que buscar, toda la producci\u00f3n de conocimiento cient\u00edfico en este campo est\u00e1 quedando invisibilizada. Es falso que no existan resultados sobre \u00abEstudios de G\u00e9nero\u00bb cuando buscas una tesis en la base de datos del Ministerio de Cultura. Tod@s los cient\u00edfic@s que trabajamos en este tema nos hemos visto obligados a inscribir nuestra tesis en categor\u00edas falsas, porque la principal no existe en el Tesaurus de la UNESCO. Y los estudios de g\u00e9nero no son reducibles a una categor\u00eda, porque son precisamente una perspectiva transversal que todas las engloba.<\/p>\n

Ahora hay que conseguir cinco firmas. Estoy segura de que llegaremos al mill\u00f3n. <\/strong>

LOS ESTUDIOS DE G\u00c9NERO EXISTEN<\/strong>
\nSoy Doctora por la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia. Mi tesis doctoral est\u00e1 realizada desde una perspectiva de G\u00e9nero. Al tratar de introducir mi tesis en TESEO, he descubierto que en el Tesauro de la Unesco, no existe el tema \u00abEstudios de G\u00e9nero\u00bb. Los \u00abEstudios de G\u00e9nero\u00bb no pueden enmarcarse en ninguna categor\u00eda previa, pues son un tema de actuaci\u00f3n transversal en los siete temas contemplados por la Unesco: Educaci\u00f3n, Ciencia, Cultura, Ciencias Sociales y Humanas, Informaci\u00f3n y comunicaci\u00f3n, Pol\u00edtica, derecho y Econom\u00eda y Pa\u00edses. Si el tema \u00abEstudios de G\u00e9nero\u00bb no existe en el Tesauro de la Unesco esto arroja la falsa creencia de que las investigaciones sobre \u00abEstudios de G\u00e9nero\u00bb no existen. Falso. Las investigaciones internacionales en este campo, y en concreto las tesis incorporadas en TESEO mediante este procedimiento, se ven obligadas a diluirse bajo otros ep\u00edgrafes invisibilizando la producci\u00f3n de conocimiento ci\u00e9nt\u00edfico en los \u00abEstudios de G\u00e9nero\u00bb. Solicito, por ello, la inclusi\u00f3n urgente del tema \u00abEstudios de Genero\u00bb en el Tesauro de la Unesco.<\/p>\n

My name is Julia Navarro Coll. I am a PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. My thesis is made from a gender perspective. In trying to introduce my thesis in Theseus, I discovered that there is no theme \u00abGender Studies\u00bb in the Thesaurus Unesco. The \u00abGender Studies\u00bb can not be framed in any previous category, they are a matter of transversal action in the seven topics covered by UNESCO: Education, Science, Culture, Social and Human Sciences, Information and Communications, Politics, Law and Economics and Countries. If the theme \u00abGender Studies\u00bb does not exist in the Unesco Thesaurus this throws the false belief that research on \u00abGender Studies\u00bb do not exist. False. International research in this field, in particular the thesis in Theseus incorporated by this process, are forced to fade Elsewhere obscuring the production of scientific knowledge in the \u00abGender Studies\u00bb. I request, therefore, urgent that the topic \u00abGender Studies\u00bb at the Unesco Thesaurus.<\/p>\n
